Sunday 27th December 2009 – We’re playing the annual GYPO show at The Matrix in Grimsby along with Push the Ghost and Not Tonight and the Headaches.
Saturday 23rd January 2010 – We’re playing in Sheffield at The Stockrooms with Crash of Rhinos, Bilge Pump and some other sterling chaps. Come along if you’re northenly inclined.
Saturday 13th February 2010 – What could be more romantic than taking your partner to see Elk at The Fenton in Leeds? Fact: nothing is more romantic; get you and your lover there.
Thursday 8th April 2010 – Radiohead, Supergrass, Foals, Young Knives… they’re all from Oxford. We’re not, but we’re playing at The Jericho Tavern anyway. Come along.

Sunday 18th July 2010 – Well now. Derby you say? Indeed. And you’ll find us playing a grand show at The Big Blue Coffee Company. Sure beats going to church. It’s what Jesus would’ve wanted.
Saturday 21st August 2010 – Do you, dear listener, take this Elk to be your lawfully wedded entertainment? Of course. We’re playing – with strict invitation only – Karl and Sophie’s Wedding in our sunny seaside hometown of Cleethorpes. You’re not a real band until you’ve played a wedding.
Sunday 9th January 2011 - One member of Elk has a birthmark on his back that is the shape of Europe. We’re also playing with a band called Birthmark, as well as Crushing Blows and Liberation Pact in Nottingham at Spanky Van Dykes. Conicidence?
Saturday 22nd Janaury 2011 - Some gigs just look damn fine don’t they and the one we’re playing with Coal Train, Eagulls and Serious Sam Barrett at The Redhouse in Sheffield is one of them.
